Club Committee

Committee members are elected from the clubs membership annually at the AGM and are unpaid volunteers who are passionate about their vehicles. If you have a query, suggestion or something to contribute then please contact the relevant committee member.

Chairperson - Lindsey Smith

Lindsey is the brainchild behind the Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club and is passionate about all things Austin/Rover/MG. Lindsey has previously owned a Rover 214 SLi and now owns a Rover 220 GTi Turbo.

Secretary - Trevor Walbridge

Trevor has owned Rovers for over 10 years. Trevors first Rover was a 400 SLi and he has never looked back. Trevor currently owns are a Rover Coupe VVC and a 75 Tourer. Trevor says the Coupe is just for fun and shows, while all the day to day work is down to the 75.

Treasurer - Matthew Semple

Matthew is fairly new to R8 ownership, and currently has a Rover 220 Coupe Turbo in Nightfire Red in the family. Matthew however has owned a large number of Austin/Rover cars over the years and still has two MG Maestros in the fleet.

Membership - Tom Pinney

Tom currently drives a 1993 220 Coupe and a 420 GSi Turbo, both in Nightfire Red. Tom has been a Rover, and British car fan since he was a small boy.

Events & Regalia - Nigel Haigh

From an early age Nigel was around cars due to his family owning and running garages. Nigel currently owns a 1992 Rover Cabriolet in flame red, which has been with him for a long time. His interests are mostly around cars, and he loves getting his hands greasy.

Features/Assistant Editor - Matthew Jeavons

Matthew has always had a keen interest in all Austin and Rover cars and in particular, with the 200/400 series from its launch back in 1989. He currently has two Rover 216 coupes in Flame and Nightfire red, with a further two 216GSis in the family.

Technical * - Daniel Pyke

The first port of call for technical advice should be through the clubs community forum where there a number of experienced members who should be able to answer your questions. Otherwise Daniel Pyke is on hand to try and help solve your problems

Webmaster * - Lindsey Smith

Lindsey Smith maintains the club website. Members are actively encouraged to contribute to the content of the website.
