Pre event camping and barbeque is arranged every year for this event, with most people sharing a car to the local supermarket. However this year it didn't all go quite to plan. The local supermarket happens to be one of the largest Tesco stores in the county so the last thing you expect them to run out of is BBQs! They even had none on their petrol station either. Thankfully a quick tour of Peterborough managed to source one.

In contrast to MG Saloon Day attendance at BL Rally was much lower with only five cars on show. Where were you all? One of the main reasons I find people are hesitant to place their cars on show is they don't think their car is in good enough condition. Your car doesn't need to be pristine to be on show, shows are all about getting to meet other members and car enthusiasts. So next year come along.
