Re: Rally seat in a Concerto/rover

Re: Steering rack r8 same across the range?

Fundamentally yes but you may need to change the ram feed pipes between some derivatives.

I think it's only the D16s where these pipes are significantly different.

Re: Rover 416-Auto with honda singlecam engine/Power steering

Either the pump isn't generating sufficient pressure, the rack is leaking the generated pressure internally without it being used to turn the wheels or something is resisting the forces generated. The last one is probably the easiest to check - jack the front of the car up, and with the engine off, ...

Re: R8 "The Graduate" re-run September 14/15th 2019

This is intended as an informal drive through the area with the opportunities to stop at various points around it for photos, tea and cake, lunch and convivial chats. So we've identified suitable stops which means that the route it likely to take a bit longer than the 2~2 1/2 hours that a continuous...

Re: Gear sloppyness

I changed mine with a kit like that and the shift has improved considerably.

The old one was stiff not loose, as I'd expected.

You may be able to marry the short-shift D16 lever with your PG1 rods.

Please let us know how you get on.

Did the broken loom stop your interior boot light from working? I think the switch that activates this light also tells the alarm the boot ...
