Hello all,
:welcome

As for picking possibly the most well known car we have as a first step into classic and rover ownership and having had the pleasure of both working on it and driving it, you will definitely have a worthy contender for some time.

Don’t buy cheapies from eBay get the Land Rover version.

Diesel problems

Now I never do these normally as I rarely find an exceptional product, more it does what it says on the tin so whatever. I've recently bought a 5cy diesel Mercedes and anyone familiar with 5cy engines know they have a strange soundtrack while on idle, so much so I was thinking one of the injectors w...

Re: Chrome/plastic trim

The easiest way is to take the door cards off and unclip the plastic trims that poke through the door skin.

Once off you can use silicon lube or wd on the back of the trim to help it slide out.
Then just feed the excess back through the plastic trim and pull HARD.

Re: Any easy grommet between interior & engine?

Right hand side at the bulkhead there is a large rubber grommet there you can pass a flat head screw drive through with your starter cables attached.

Any reason you don’t want it on the key as you still need to position 2 regardless?

Dash cams

Getting a bit bored of the wife’s nightmare journeys to and from work so looking for a good dash cam.

From what I’ve been reading some only record for like 20 mins. Which is obviously no good.

I’m looking for front and rear be it single or two camera system.

What you got?
