No, not Woolies, I used Martrim their silver grey works well.
They are good and will mail out a sample of any trim for free. :)

Thanks, I will pick up one of the top brands you mention, actually a lot cheaper than I thought.
Cheers

Rear Spekers - Info ref finding replacements

I'm sure some of you will have replaced the rear speakers, where is a good place to get some from? Or dimensions and spec?

The paper cones in mine are shot

Re: Early Rover 216GTi

Thanks John much improved since it’s appearance on the Club’s stand in 2017 Refurbished wheels, powder coated, dents removed, new front brakes, discs, pads and callipers, exhaust refurbished and spoiler painted. Headlining material is on its way from Martrim, that’s the next job. Could be interested...

Early Rover 216GTi

Hi, with the 30th Anniversary of the R8 just two months ago, seeing lots of interest on here in older ones My Rover was an early GTI, first registered in October 1990. With Honda DOHC. (Date stamped on the original ECU label says 14th October 1990.) Some new pictures taken this week. (Newark, Notts)...

Re: Spoiler is back on the car

Great job by The Bodyshop Hucknall, Notts. Highly recommend them.

Spoiler is now back on the car and it looks superb, excellent colour matching.

Re: Look what I have got!

Thanks Richard.
Swapped the new ECU in today, it works perfectly and took it for a long drive.
Drove it hard, acceleration was good and Concerto mapping seems identical to Rover.
Have left the replacement in and plan to drive on it for a few months to gain confidence in its reliability.

I have been after a spare ECU for my Rover 216GTi for several years now. The car is a very early model 1990, manual, non-cat and these ECUs are now quite rare. The ECU code is 83720 PP5 E01. :D :D :D (If the ECU fails then there is no way to drive the car.) It looks identical to my original ECU, has...
