Re: My Cab - what is it?

Paul may be correct about Longbridge filling in the form but that doesn't answer why some earlier BL cars got different marque designations in the same time period, ie the Princess was registered as Austin Morris, Austin and Leyland and in a similar way Montegos were registered as Austin, Austin Rov...

Re: Is there a Rover P4 owners club?

Yes, it's the Rover P4 Drivers Guild and it's quite a big club. I went to their National Rally a few years ago and there must have been 150 cars there. It is a thriving club and they do arrange the manufacture of obsolete parts.

Re: Paint code RHW Pulsar Silver?

RHW is the combination of MNF Quicksilver and LOQ Tempest Grey II

MNS is Quicksilver II but I am not sure that it was used in combination with Tempest Grey
MNX is Platinum Silver but is later and I am sure was never offered with Tempest Grey

Re: Paint code RHW Pulsar Silver?

Well I would say quicksilver had more of a blue tint. Pulsar was duller. If it is 93L it will be Quicksilver MNF

Re: Paint code RHW Pulsar Silver?

A paint code startng with R is a duo tone combination. RHW is Quicksilver MNF and Tempest Grey 2 LOQ. What year is your car? Quicksilver only became available on the 200/400 from about 1992. Pulsar Silver was a launch colour.

Re: rain water

I had a windscreen de-bond on my 75 and I couldn't believe how much water it let in. I couldn't see that it had de-bonded but the windscreen fitter was convinced that it had and to be fair to him, he was right. It was just a shame that he managed to snap one of the scuttle clips fitting the new scre...

It may well be. It will depend on what the venue charges the club if anything.

When it was at Burghley House a few years ago it was £10 on the day. Not sure what they are charging this time.

Re: Bedfordshire rover meet up?!

I've taken my 214 in the past. They were happy to have non MG cars. You just park with non MGs. I was actually parked next to a 200 coupe.

If they don't manage to sort it, it would be worth trying AE Wilcox of Wickwar. Not too far from you and an ex Rover dealer who still have Rover trained technicians.
