Re: New forum URL

The forum is looking very cool indeed. Looks very modern and still as readable as the original. I've seen lots of upgrades and re-skins that just turn people off a forum but this one is excellent.

Well done!

Seems reasonable. My diary is quite empty anyway. ^^ That's a lot of bacon sandwiches. We might need to get a mobile catering unit to visit...

Re: R8 alarm/immobiliser flash codes?

A couple of weeks ago my remote range reduced significantly, to the point of having to be right next to the driver's door for it to operate. At the same time the alarm/immobiliser red dash started to double flash rapidly but would stop flashing when I closed the driver's door. Then during last week...

Re: Rover R750 Radio Code

Sorted. Paid a tenner and I'm up and running. Found the "free" Italian site but the R750 wasn't listed. Good to hear. You should be able to get the code reset - the radios are that old now no one is going to think they are nicked. I had a chap in Nuneaton do one for me a while ago and he actually m...

Re: 1994 Rover 414Sli

Little milestone achieved. And the interesting thing there is that the trip counter is precisely 50 miles and change - the same 5 or 6 tenths as the 115,000 milestone. It suggests at least the last two journeys have been to round 50 readings on the odometer. Well done though. I've got another 7K to...

Re: T series Throttle Body clean

That's great, many thanks. Is removing the battery to creat space or for another reason? I'm slightly reluctant to disconnect the battery due to potentially activating the immobiliser as the documentation didn't include the key sequence :closedeyes Finally, what's the throttle pot and shift motor? ...

Re: 214SEi... Hi all!

Hello to everyone here! I've recently purchased a very clean and reasonably rust-free 214SEi in Nightfire Red. It's my first Rover with a Lot series engine and it seems to behave itself rather well! Hope I'll get to meet some of you in person some time! :welcome Whereabouts in the world are you? Pl...

You've got too much time on your hands :laughing2

Seriously though - a Christmas card series with verses like that would work really well.

Bit of a niche market though at under 30,000 potential purchasers in total.

Re: 1994 Rover 414Sli

Since I last cleaned the engine bay it's stayed looking pretty much the same, I've been very surprised at that. A few water spots and leaves is all that's appeared under there. That's a far cry from the Princess' engine bay that can get dirty again within a week just standing still. While we're on ...

Have added more info and links to the above, so worth a re-reference at some point.
