Thought it would a long job , are all r8 steering racks the same or does the tomcat have a different type , a recon would be best why forward surely . Or a know second one .

We have a 05 x type estate and I've welded new sills on 3 years ago , there is a middle section that rusts out , it's build in in the design in my opinion , other wise a good car .

When done , told you bearing would pass , just need to keep a eye on them now and replace with a set from , DMGRS had no issues with them ones , still got one to do myself , the good news is the play as not increased.

Had this problem years ago and got the solenoid from Peugeot at the 3rd of the cost from rover :wink3

Nook it back in Take it for a blast down to motorway and drive it like it's stolen before it retested , if that fail disconnect camcover breather pipe from the cam cover and bock up . First one works for me the engine as to be red hot and second one worked year ago on a 216 that had piston ring trou...

Pull the window down from the inside at the top ,, there should Velcro at the top and sides of the window , the zip should be at the top under the Velcro, then undo screw on the bottom rail under rubber seal . if no zip it's a one piece hood and replace the back window the hood will need taking of t...

Will look at my wiring loom spares tomorrow and get back to you , unless your plug is in a bad way can't see it making any difference , you need to plug in and see if any code are showing then take it from there .
