In fairness any decent garage will be able to do the job if none of the mentioned places are not close enough etc not like anything on the vehicle is new technology :laughing2

Didn't the GTI fail the MOT on serious corrosion if it's the white one off Facebook (one of the user's told me about it)

If the ignition coil and spark plugs are not firing first place I would look is the crankshaft sensor

Yes that's for the map sensor but you'll still have spark. Are the injectors pulsing when cracking?

And so do I. Better when starting up in winter and no damage to the engine. I'm used to change it every year (6.5k mls).

Always use 5W40 fully synthetic in all my K Series :D
