Re: Intention to introduce E10 fuel in the UK

My 3 LHD Rovers are all fuelled with full E85: a special legal kit for the 25 and 2 resistors on air & coolant sensors in the 214 cabby & the V6 2.5. Two of them (25 & 75) are working fine since 2017. As the coolant was slightly leaking and the oil going slightly up in the 25 (you've understood! :wi...

Re: The Up side of Lockdown

There's no equivalent as the SORN procedure in France. Even you can't use your car you're not allowed not to insure it unless you sell or scrap it. Few policies may be based upon km considerations but the savings will look rather meager... On the other hand I'm told that it's no good for the engine ...

Good try. :thumbup1
And it's obvious now there are so few fines on French roads! :laughing
We are saving money... :thumbup
But not so good news for the national budget! :wink

Re: Which kind of mudflaps?

Done deal.
How fast you are! :clapping
Fingers crossed there will not be too much delay in the shipping due to the ghastly disease.
I'll tell you when it's arrived at home.
Thanks a lot. :)

Re: Which kind of mudflaps?

Why on earth am I not allowed to change settings?
When I'm trying to allow pm & E-Mail, I get the stupid answer: "The language you specified is not valid."!
I don't understand what's happening!
Help please!

Still cannot send ,same message .
Some users couldn’t be added as they have disabled private message receipt.
I give up: the parameters are looking too tricky for me.
You can send me a message to my E-Mail: aurejac.arnaud@wanadoo.fr.

Which kind of mudflaps?

For my 214 cabby, I would like to find out a pair of rear mudflaps (maybe front ones as well). I've seen several of them on Ebay, but I'm wondering which would be the right one for an 200 Mk2 cab (1992-1995). I guess they may differ from those you may find on Mk3 (1996-1999). I assume the latter are...

Re: Any lightstone beige front armrest?

Apologies for the delay. Smokestone beige armrest https://flic.kr/p/2iGZeoH https://flic.kr/p/2iH4wec I've already got a leather lid now. Any colour provided it's not black may be washed then dyed or painted with a lighter colour thanks to several thin layers. Besides my main concern is the box whi...

Re: Good news & (not so) bad news

You are lucky to have such a cooperative local garage ! Good luck with all the difficulties you're facing. If we're all sensible about this we'll get the best outcome but it'll still be very painful. Keep safe and fit :clapping Thank you John for your very kind & warm words. :thumbup1 Indeed I'm lu...

Re: Good news & (not so) bad news

It began indeed with very limited amount of coolant requiring some slight quarterly top-ups: not to be worried about because the concern was each time between max & min. I'd bought the car in March 2015 and the very first top-up (35cl) I've recorded was in January 2017 after 15k km (10k mls) or ther...

Good news & (not so) bad news

First I will praise once more DMGRS - Matt & Scott - for their prompt & efficient service: my order made last Friday (13 Mar) was sent on Monday (16 Mar) & received yesterday (Thursday 19). Indeed I'd paid the princely sum of £29.99 for a quick shipping to the continent, but after all it was barely ...

Re: Any lightstone beige front armrest?

I will dig in my lockup and take a photo during the week. The one that I have is smokestone beige from a Rover Coupe. I didnt reralise that you were in France but I will check up on postage and let you know. The one I'm looking for is a lightstone beige, whose shade is close to a light yellow-ish c...
