Re: Cambelt snapped

Can you do a static Compression test to tell you if valve is bent. Use a spanner to turn the engine ?

Re: Alloys At Launch

i just found a pair of these in my lock-up.Pics to foloow. They are almost identical to the 215gti DOHC alloys but they do not have the legless starfish in the middle, they take the standard Rover badge. One of the alloys looks new but has tiny scratches on the spoke paintwork. The other has very sl...

Some people leave their cars parked on grass which destroys the underside. The top may look perfect but down under :crying

Re: Rover 600 Seats into Rover 400 Bubble

Has anyone ever tried this ?
I have tried to fit a set of X reg 45 seats into my 99 R400 but not looking good as front bolt holes do not match up.
The mounting holes on the seat rails for the R400 bubble are vertical but the 45 seats have horizontal mounting holes on the rail. .

Rover 25 Facelift Headlight Glass... Plastic

Thanks in advance.

Re: 2019

I have a 1.6 Integra auto ecu that has water damage but I have the info to change it to a manual.
It has 7500rpm rev limiter- potentially 150bhp or above.
I'll look for it if you're interested

Re: 52mm throttle body

Interesting. Do you still have the dyno graph ? I've always used the standard rubber air feeds and airbox in which I tried drilling a couple of small forward facing holes which gave me no further improvement. I wonder if the throtle body gives more power before reaching peak power which comparative ...

Rover 25 Tailgate Badges

I recently had a friend's wife complaining about the tailgate badges and in her view it looked too drab with the chromed R O V E R letters instead of the traditional badge. I sort of agreed so have bought her a larger boot badge from an older model Rover. It was whilst ordering that I decided to re-...

Re: The Hunt For Driveability in a 416

All pipes have arrived. So has Christmas and the lower temperatures, I'll try and get the interior swapped over during the break. Also got an R 25 that needs suspension mods to take it to GTi spec.

Re: Superflex Bushes

Yes,partly but the explanations of colour/hardness from different eBay sellers varied greatly. On one occasion, having ordered a set of Superflex bushes from an eBay listing featuring a pic of proper Superflex bushes what arrived was a pair of no name bushes in a different colour to that ordered. On...
