I’ve now had this car for 16 months and it’s a pleasure to own.

MOT passed today, and I’ve done 3,000 miles since the last one.

Still a few things I’d like to sort out on it, but all in good time.

I am pleased you are enjoying it. In my opinion the T series engine is the best engine available in an R8 and you have the practicality of the Tourer as well.

I totally agree with Jeremy and not just because I am a Turbo owner. Several years ago I ran a 420 GSi Tourer just like Paul's and it was a very relaxed drive, but capable of very rapid progress when needed. The non-sporting variants of the T-powered cars have a fairly high top gear ratio and make great cruisers with good mpg.

Without a doubt it’s my favourite R8 since my 214 SEi that I ran between 2005 and 2011. I love driving it!
