Where is the location of ECU on Rover 200 mk2 r8 and how to check if ECU have some ECU fault codes errors?

It depends on which engine your R8 is fitted with; the Honda has the ECU under the carpet in the front passenger footwell. The K & M/T Series it sit's next to the battery on it's side.

My engine reference is d16a9 and the car model is the Rover 216 gti
