Stainless coolant pipes

#1 Post by 1234dist » Sun Dec 31, 2017 12:54 pm

So I've been working (silently) on this project for some time now.

I know what you are thinking, the have been produced before and only ever come in group buys and only ever for the T-series.

But i am the holy one, i don't do things by halves.

Once i have a full set for measurements i'll be able to offer:

t-series (non air con)
K-series
K-Turbo
Honda

The set for the t-series which will be available soon include top, middle and bottom coolant pipes and the dip stick tube.

Anyone interested or am i wasting my time?

I'll be interested if the Honda ones are good for my auto :thumbup

Keeping the car long term so anything to prolong its life would be welcome.

Can anyone confirm this is the only metal pipe on a k-series?

That one doesn't suit R8s which use PEP10017:

Another steel pipe runs across the front subframe to the coolant expansion tank.

If you can get me pics, part numbers or even better spares to be copied I can get the ball rolling.

Worst case I’ll strip down the cabriolet.

There are two; one running around the block under the inlet manifold [the pic looks wrong] and another that screws onto the front subframe under the rad' it takes a feed from the expansion bottle.
