215/40/17 tyres?
Would these be ok as opposed to a 205 40 17?

i think you'll get rubbing on full lock, 215 is massive.

You can get away with it on the ZR as its got a shorter turning circle, when you throw the 17"s on the
25 you have to fit the 205's to stop it rubbing as they have a wider turning circle, guessing the 25 and
R8 share a similar if not the same setup, swap to a ZR rack ??

I'm guessing you have never tried fitting the ZR front end on or never realised that the floor and steering rack are completely different
