rusty cill

I need to replace the cill end where it joins the rear wheel arch. I am sure that this has been done by many members, but I am a new member and am not sure how to navigate the club site. Can you point me in the correct direction.

:welcome

If it's a saloon (eg not a coupe/cabby/3dr) then repair panels are still available at a reasonable cost.

Search for 'sill' on the forum and you might find people who've found the source of the panel and any more info.

Pls take pics and tell us how it goes.

Good luck!

I have had this done on mine , bought a full cill with the arch return from panel shop in malvern , thats near home for me , panel was about £27 , then panel shop cut out the rusty section of cill and arch only on the drivers side and welded the new in and repainted it , wouldn't know now . Think i have seen some photos of this showing the steps somewhere on the site.

Hi - I see that one of our members managed to source a replacement rear sill and arch for her Rover recently. My 1990 Rover nearside 416 GSI rear arch is starting to rust out, so is it possible to buy a replacement sill with arch that my body shop can tailor/cut/weld to fit? I did see someone mention a body shop in Malvern, but no details. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks guynosborne.

Is this what you're after?

They've got a surprising amount of panels for our cars :)

Fantastic, it's not quite what I wanted but they do have rear wheel arches which is exactly what I wanted.
Thanks for your help
