Thanks Scrumpy, it'll be good to see you again as well.

I notice you have a Rover 620, lovely car!

I had a T plate 620Si some ten or so years ago and I loved it to bits.

Hope to have a look at your 600 on Saturday. . . . :D

Apologies to all I couldn't make yesterday (spoke to Red Icon)... Paul, definitely will bring the 620 along sometime soon for you to peruse, I have to say the past month's motoring has been a revelation in comfort, cushion ride and just the best place to be behind a wheel. My Rover #27 is one of my favourites, top three no question :cool
There's another mint one up for sale I posted up for £700, small change for the ride and spec I think. They're out there and just hope enough survive because I think their overlooked massively. (Talking about 600's on a 200 forum may be treason talk, but as you owned one I think you may know where I'm coming from, seriously impressed).

Sorry you couldn't make Saturday Scrumpy, we'll make up for it next time with a good nose at your 620!

I don't think that talking about 600's on the 200 site is treasonous talk, they're all Rover's after all. :clapping

I remember when I took my 620Si for a test-drive. I hadn't even got off of the forecourt and I'd bought her. Seriously comfortable and really easy to drive, looks a big car but isn't a big car to drive. I'd best stop now before I go and buy another one! :laughing2

Best you not look at my posting on the For Sale section then Paul, it's a 1-owner minter and other than no room at the inn I would be on the train (ask Red Icon, Been there done that 3-months ago.... :rolleyes ) as I got the train via Kings Cross to Spalding, Lincolnshire for the 620i.

I'm even going to sit in the same place and eat the same food as last time, although the latter will be more difficult to achieve!

This meeting went well, with the final touches for the stand being discuss. It's just a shame that our club members [apart from Paul/Terry] didn't turn up again.
The next meeting is 26th July
