Mine is a Loris Karius

#1 Post by mrsimon » Tue May 29, 2018 10:41 am

Yep, reckon that my 2001 BRG 45 is going to be a KEEPER, despite the odd off-beat moment.

MOT next Tuesday.

Once we get a new daily drive I can keep it off the road and stop putting KMs on it.

Happy with it so far. Only niggles now are
1) the 'doors open' warning stays on
2) There's a sqeaking noise now and again, probably from a RHS wheel.

Niggles!!!!!

Regarding the door open light, check the door switches for corrosion/dirty contacts. They are the same part as the R8 200 if you need to repace any.
My Rovers to date:
1994 Rover 220GSI in Tahiti blue (On the road)
2002 MG ZR 105 in Solar red (On loan)
1995 214i (On SORN)

Where are the door switches? Actually, what are they exactly??!!

Only help would be appreciated.
Thanks

They are located next the door striker plates on the car body, easy to spot and are only held in place by one screw.
