Rover 216 s series alternator replacement

Yeah that’s what I’m gonna do when iv got chance also I’m gonna test if there’s anything coming out them 2 spades on the alternator, does 1 go to the starter an the other to the battery or fuse box first because the big live wire on the the battery is a lot bigger than the 2 wires on the black plug

The two main wires go from alternator too the block on near side strut top. Yellow one on the bottom

Thanks that’s brilliant really helpful so it’s pretty straight forward then I’ll get on with it when this new plug an loom turns up
