I have the "Midlands" flag. It's in the car so I don't forget it. I just have to remember to take the right car!!!

I'm hoping to be at this show. Still not sure which of the heritage fleet to bring.
It'll either be my 216 Cabriolet or my Triumph Acclaim CD. :clapping

Watched the latest BBC long range forecast and rain is due to sweep from the NW across England and Wales on Sunday.

The problem is they don't know the exact time it will pass through, how quickly, and it might even stall.

Might be worth keeping and eye on as I'm not fancying a 5.5 hour round trip if it's going to be lashing it down all day. Let's hope it holds off!

Just googled it: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=weath ... es&ie=&oe=

Whosever predictions they're using, if you click to Sunday and Precipitation, highest chance is at 9:00am and then falls. At least at the moment it's looking okay...

I've only just joined the forum and haven't got myself a 200 yet, and probably won't have by this weekend :sad but I'll probably come along and say hi in any case as it's only 30 mins away from me...........I'll park my X-type somewhere out of sight!

No need to hide the X-Type: there will be at least four people there who will appreciate seeing it :) I still kind of regret letting mine go a couple of years ago (and the Mrs certainly does!) to buy an Alfa Romeo :unsure
It will be most welcome: after all, Jaguar was very much a part of BL and none of the subsequent owners have done anything to spoil the brand :wink3

Looks likes it's going to lash it down on Sat night, with the rain clearing to the south east early morning, with a dry but breezy day following.

If we're on grass it could be a bit boggy!

See you there...

The ground will be fine. The main access through the field is hardcore. The site is on top of a hill and the ground is hard underneath.

I'll be there but I'll be in my MG Montego, if the gsi turbo was taxed I'd have used that!

And for further encouragement, one lucky 200 or 400 owner will be taking this home:

Just a warning for anyone coming up the M1 to MK tomorrow, the M1 will be closed from Junction 11 to J12 northbound for bridge works.

Sorry guys for the late drop out but I ain't gonna make it today. Worked last night for the first time since my recent operation and have woken up feeling rough as #&@#. :closedeyes
Annoying but no point me trying to come feeling poorly.
Can't remember who it was :S but dist has given someone a part for me to collect off them. If they can keep hold of it I will collect another time, there's no rush.
Have a good day guys.

Pity to miss you Hammond - hope you're feeling better soon.

It was a nice day out again and being an 'official' club this time we were even included in the voting for Favourite Car.

I'll leave it to them to post who it was that won... :wink3
