Emailed to the club:-
We are the hosts of Cressing Classics, the classic, retro car and bike show at Cressing Temple Barns, Braintree, Essex. 2017 will be our 11th year and we would love to have your club involved in this year’s festivities!
Date: Sunday 25th June 2017
Time: 11am - 4pm
Location: Cressing Temple Barns, Witham Road, Cressing, Braintree, Essex, CM77 8PD
Cressing Classics isn’t just another classic car show.
We invite you to take a step back in time with us on Sunday 25th June at our unique venue. Steeped in history, Cressing Temple was built by the Knights Templar in the 13th century, and is home to some of the oldest barns anywhere in the world.
Famous historian Michael Haag described our Barley and Wheat Barns as "the finest Templar-built barns in Europe”. Don't just take Michael’s word for it, though, come and see for yourself!
What’s new for Cressing Classics 2017?
We are very excited to announce some big changes for 2017:
- Our event will be promoted in Classic Car Weekly, Classic Car Buyer, and Practical Classics - this year is set to be our biggest year yet!
New headline sponsors for 2017 include Bentley Motors, Morgan, Mitsubishi Heritage, Skoda, SsangYong, and more.
New show layout.
Bigger trade village.
More than 600 cars on show.
More club stands - we want all marques represented!
Catering to suit everyone, including our on-site Tiptree tea room (amazing cream teas!), stone-baked pizza, authentic Jamaican jerk chicken, as well as a BBQ. We will also have ice cream, cakes and sweets available.
Entertainment for all the family, such as live music, face painting, plus themed activities.
Who's interested?

Missed a bit...
What you/your club members need to know:
Club pitches are free of charge (admission as below).
Admission is just £5 per person for 2017 (under 12s go free).
Confirmed clubs will be added to our website’s club listings and event flyer.
Show/club cars are expected to be on-site and parked in their allocated spots for 9am.
Show close is at 3pm and all show/club cars will be expected to remain on-site until that time.
In the meantime, if you could reply back to this email with details (year, make, model) of the cars you will be bringing. Club stands are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so please get in touch with us ASAP to avoid missing out. Prompt responses will also ensure that your club is mentioned on our website and event literature.
So we'll see if we get a good response and I'll drop them a line
