Thanks for posting the picture, my images are not working again from Photobucket :cursing

Was going to ask if anyone has seen these golf tees before? I look out for Rover books and memorabilia at shows.

The seller tells me these were ordered for a Rover golf tournament but the closure happened before they could be delivered.
The Promoter was never paid for the golf event or the merchandise that had been ordered.

Don't know if that's true, anyway. I got them for a fiver.

By the way, I'm not a golfer!

Pictures now working again

My humble steed, now added 500 miles got her up to 137,236. Getting confident that everything works as it should.
The engine is very lively and just wants to go. At 1,000 miles she gets an oil and filter change.

A couple of other Rovers were there too..

Couldn't help noticing the similarity of the Proton K467 UTA behind the blue Rover to the R8 body shape
Industrial espionage or was there a license to copy

Also some nice 'Americana' at the show to look at too, complete with coke cans.

Only bought a breaker bar and two bags of Metric fine nuts and bolts about 40 items in each bag of 10,12 and 14mm. £1 a bag

Cheap day out! :wink3

It can't be quite right about the golf accessories because the badge that has been used is pre-2004. For the last 18months they were using a simplified version of the Viking badge in red black and silver. Nice memorabilia though.

I've seen some match books somewhere with the exact same logo on them. I'm not sure they did change the logo for the simple promo stuff. It was certainly on the car trim, garage signs and literature. I'd say they probably had such things made up in advance in bulk quantities and didn't bother trying to update the logo on everything.
