#1 Post by GTiJohn » Sun Aug 26, 2018 7:44 pm

This is a lovely event, not as big as some but well worth going to, Please be aware that it's pre-2001 so not all of our vehicles meet this entry stipulation.

Image
Club Displays, superb on-site tea room, Lots to see and do, free entry to showground and discounted museum entry.
Vehicle awards for various classes.
All pre-2001 BMC/BL/Austin Rover vehicles welcome.

Tom won't mind a few 25s or 45s turning up; I believe the 2001 rule is there mainly to prevent infestation by modern Cowley products that pretend to be British Classics :laughing2

Hi everyone,

Are we expecting much of a turnout from the club in this event? I am pretty sure I'm going to this, just need to give the SD3 a clean! :laughing2

Regrettably, I am not going to be able to attend this year as my wife has arranged a big family do for lunchtime. Not happy.

Yep, just turn up. As you drive in to the museum car park, turn left immediately through the field gate and follow the track in to the rally field. It's free to enter.
