It was a great show I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for inviting my car on the club stand. Also a thank you to all involved in the organisation of the event for the club. It seems to have been a big success. Well done.

A really enjoyable weekend.

And although I am the one who wears the "Events Organiser's" hat, credit must go to the whole team who got involved and put in much hard work from several weeks ago right up until we cleared it all away last night.

Thanks also to the members who stopped by to have a chat with us :)

And finally to the Rover Coupe Club who lent us their carpet tiles and helped us obtain John's Coupe for the show.

Needless to say, our application for next year's show has been submitted!

:o Sorry but the RCOC can't get in because their cars are not old enough and there is a 75 estate there. :thumbdown :headbanging :mouthshut

This year I made a detour via Hall's One & Two; there was a 2011 registration Jag' on display and lot's of independent dealers selling cars, a lot were not 20 years old, or any where near. :sad

This vague twenty year rule only applies to independent car club's it would seem and traders can do what they want when they're paying for a stand? :unsure

To be fair, the 75 tourer was part of the Rover Sports Register's display and was well-balanced by some much older stuff.

I was more impressed by the vintage Tesla! It must be years since I last saw one of those on the road. It's true, you don't notice them disappearing, just suddenly, one day, you realise you never see them any more.

Hi all. I was at the show on the saturday. At the time you were all busy chatting away, and we were pushed for time. Huge show!

Thought the stall looked great, the cars were spot on. My car looks a bit bit long gone for shows i think.

I liked the fact that the Sports Register and this club got around petty rules by bringing in the cars they wanted.

I felt Halls 1-3 was just corporate tat this year and I did not view it. Also far too many people getting in as a 'Journo' dodge. That needs clamping down. One chap I know full well barely writes an article yet got himself £70 worth of entry for free. Thats not right.
