I had a great weekend from Build Up DayThursday to Sunday and the end of the show.
It was great to see everyone and eat Duncan's fine cuisine that he brought to keep everyone sustained on the club stand during the long days welcoming people.
There is still a lot of passion for Rover in the West Midlands this became apparent whilst talking to the many visitors that we all spoke to.
A great weekend talking to great people about great cars.
Thank-you for the privilege.

Many many thanks for bringing it and I hope your muscles aren't aching too much after wheeling the engine stand (with engine still attached) all the way back to where you had your car parked (we saw you while we were queuing to get back in!) :clapping

in a show with hundreds of cars, it is exhibits like your engine and the story behind it that really add interest to the stand :)

:) it wasn't to bad wheeling it back up to the car on the sack truck did get some funny looks of people in there cars waiting to get back in *laughs*

was nice to know people liked to here about the history and story behind the engine and the specs and performance of the engine :)

The engine certainly did catch the attention of a lot of people especially it's position on our Club Stand.
As I walked around the show over the weekend I didn't notice any other Club Stand with an engine on show from a vehicle let alone a unique race engine.
Well worth the effort of bringing it out on show.
