Excellent. Not so sure about the pavilion but we need to be grateful we have been given a stand.

At 7m x 9m with a small pillar within our stand, we will need to plan carefully, I would guess three or four cars maximum :)

We share an area with the P6 Club, 75/ZT Owners Club and 800 Owners Club, the Rover Sports Register is across the gangway from us and there is the other 75/ZT club not far away. SD1 club is also opposite us.

All of the other Austin/Morris/MG clubs are at the opposite end of the show from us, in Hall 4.

All offers of cars will be gratefully received (we have already been promised a very nice 'SD3' Rover 216 saloon if we want it)

Thanks for that Alan.
They give us a stand with a column in it to make sure we set up the stand in the right place!
Perhaps we should have a R8 400 saloon to compare against the SD3? Even better if we could find a HH/R saloon as well so we had all three saloon versions.

That pillar serves 2 purposes: Firstly as a useful geographic reference point but also somewhere to wrap the club banner around!

If we are in the Pavilion isn't that just off Hall One where all the posh stuff is. Surely that'll help us with footfall to our stand.

It is but because it's at the very end, less people will get there. People get to Hall 1 and then cut across the atrium to Hall 5. I may be wrong, we will see. At least we have a stand. The Leyland Princess club didn't get one.

If you follow this link, Alan: http://www.necclassicmotorshow.com/exhibitor-guide/floorplan you can download a copy of the floorplan.

This year's theme is "HEROES AND HEROINES" (so look out for Batman and Robin on the Metro Club stand :wink3 )

I guess our 'hero' has to be the guy from the original 'Up where we belong' advert!
