Roverfest is organised by the Joint Rover Clubs (JRC). The JRC is an association of Rover Clubs working together to share experiences, improve services to our members and promote all vehicles produced by the Rover Motor Company.

2017 marks the 50th anniversary of Rover launching the V8 engine. This engine was developed as the power plant for the Rover P5 which gained the B suffix indicating the engines origins from Buick. The engine was subsequently installed into the Rover P6, SD1, Range Rover and Land Rovers. During…

It reads like I need a V8 to get in, even though our club is mentioned explicitly in the line-up.

Looks like I'm going to need that 75 Mustang engine putting in mine after all Dist,

Or maybe I just buy this:

I'm game :cool

i do agree though, it does sound a lot like nothing other than v8's but its more a celebration of the most popular engine in the world celebrated by the cars of the same company. Don't think we'll see an event for the t-series, k-series and especially not the l-series. :laughing2

I wouldn't rule out the K series just yet, given that it's used in the Elise and is an option for the likes of Westfield cars, etc. They are well-liked engines.

Anything that people are already advertising on their vehicles stands a chance of going down in history:
