Does anyone know if you can still get the little white clips that hold the cloth covered inserts in the door cards on a
214 Sli.

Is the part shown on Rimmer Bros? For example:

http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID002592

..there are another 3 pages to the door liners here:

http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID002594

Any of these showing the correct part?

No, there in lies the problem as I think it's an integral part of the complete door card and therefore only replaceable by getting the whole door card I have looked on Rimmer bros and can't see the part shown at all.
I can always resort to glueing them back in.

In a related case where the plastic nutsert of this : Bracket-front door pull - EJF10010 stripped, the nutsert wasn't shown as a spare in the XW part hierarchy, and I had to buy the complete bracket. Then I stumbled across the insert as DRC5582 listed as spare for several other Rover/MG/Land-Rover models, and incidentally much cheaper in semi-bulk on eBay!

So a photo might help - we might recognise it from elsewhere.

I assume if you purchased this whole new door card, it would include the clips you need?

Have a look on the Internet for a company called Bresco. They do all sorts of trim clips and brackets for cars. I've used them myself and their service is excellent.
