Re: 220 (air con) top hose split

MG Rover Partfinder is showing that Xpart have them in stock. If that is correct I am surprised that Rimmers are not showing it as available. It would be worth giving your local Xpart parts centre a call. It looks like Perrys in Canterbury are your closest. 01227 319108

Re: Correct radio for 2005 Rover 25

Our Feb 2005 25 GSi has a Siemens VDO CD413X Cd player. It is original as we have owned the car from new. It is not great, in fact I would say it's pretty cheap! It's certainly not of the same quality of the old Philips units. The handbook should be specific to the 2004 facelift model with the late ...

Re: Why does my wiper catch on the bonnet

I'm with you Jonathan. I managed to get a new drivers side arm for No. 1 and it cleared the bonnet. My paint shop man managed to bend the passenger side arm enough to make it clear the bonnet. I had contemplated doing that before but I thought it would snap. It is feature that has been carried over ...

Re: Bedfordshire rover meet up?!

It would be worth trying Footman James. I only pay £105 for a 214SLi that is unmodified.

I will chase him. They have sent me all the photos of the shoot for No.1 but not the POL photos. It was a different photographer at POL but I will contact him and get them distributed.

Re: Festival of the Unexceptional 2019 20th July

A very good show but the age cut off used to be 1989 meaning it only covered SD3s and very early R8s. It is good to see it has changed to 1996.

Re: 420 GSi (R8)- General Info

I had a 820 with the T series and it is a great engine. Loads of torque and a relaxed drive compared to the revvy Honda.it will be as economical as the Honda and probably better. They do suffer from a seap of oil from the head as Vinny has mentioned but it doesn't get any worse. It is the best engin...
