Re: New Member

The T Series engine is very robust and should do 200K without problems but like anything it does depend on how it has been maintained. It is certainly my preferred choice of engine in an R8.

Re: Rover 214 SI - Original Wheel Covers?

Yes, rear spoiler, bumper chin extensions and wheel trims are all original. The wheel trims occasionally come up on EBay but they are quite rare. Re: Rover 214 SI - Original Wheel Covers?

The Si 5dr trims were only used from launch of the 3dr until the summer of 91. The 92 model year launched in Autumn 91 upgraded the 214Si 3dr to include rear body colour spoiler, front bumper lower extension and 216GTi wheel trims. If you have a small rear spoiler on the tailgate it should have GTi ...

If you don't need the space, go for a 25 Diesel as they are quicker, handle better and have a simpler, low maintenance rear suspension. Try to find a pre facelift model if you value your hearing and to avoid the ...

Re: Still for sale: Rover 25 1.4 with MG interior and later dash

Blimey, I can't believe why anyone would retrofit a facelift dash into a pre-facelift car unless you like looking at all the mis-matched grains in the different plastics parts!
