Re: Pride of Longbridge 18th April 2020

Hmmm it’s 4 weeks away yet. A lot could have changed by then. The situation may be better in 3 weeks. Or is that wishful thinking? 1. it's very unlikely the situation would have been better off in 4 weeks time, in fact, it's highly likely to worsen by then in the UK, considering the general lack of...

Re: Loss of coolant

Anyone know a link for a step by step guide to dong a HGF? :laughing2 A) Can't afford to pay someone to do it and B) Quite fancy having a go myself, what's the worse that can happen :scared :slapme Grab a Haynes manual-the guide in there is decent. Has all the required tightening torques, too. Than...

Re: New member in Wilts

Hi all, just joined up. Have been a rover owner/nut for many years, and recently got back in the fold having acquired what I think is the best 623 in the country, and today I picked up a 1994 220 turbo coupe with just 46k on the clock. It's very tidy, but not showroom. I thought I'd join up, as I k...

Loss of coolant

So my 1997 400 bubble went in for MOT today and it was all going well on the way to passing until the tester saw it dumping coolant all over the mot bay. He said the temperature gauge was showing halfway and not overheating and the radiator fan had been on previously. The picture below shows where m...

Been toying with the idea of selling the BRM and thinning my classic fleet a little to enable the purchase of a nice daily drive (eyeing up a new-ish Golf GTI or Hyundai i30 N).

I’ve really got too many cars!
:o

Such a lovely car :clapping

Re: Indicator needs changing NOW SOLVED

NOW SOLVED - just in case someone searches this is the solution You have to access side indicator lamp via the front wheel arch. Remove a couple of the front black plastic screws that holds the black plastic liner in place within the wing. Slightly bend the liner and you can get your hand in to unsc...
