Re: Dailying an R8 or 45

I drive a 2004 Rover 45 Club 1.6 petrol daily and it is a very comfortable drive, starts first time and handles well. I prefer driving that to the wifes Peugeot 207.

Re: rain water

Had to have a new screen today, took the fitter nearly two hours to remove the old one. He said there was so much putty holding it in it cracked when he struggled to remove it. He said he always carries a spare screen as he has had this problem with rovers before. Happy days, hope this is the end of...

I presume there is channel that takes water from the screen etc and runs it out under the car. I am thinking the channel may be blocked....

Re: introduce myself

Yes, my son has saved me alot of money over the years, he has just given the Rover a pre mot which is due in June and serviced the brakes, hopefully all ok except for exhaust mounting rubbers. I have photos and will try to get them on here.

I have owned it for 7 months and have all paper work for it from when it was new, even a sales receipt. Previous cars owned include 2 x minis, a Rover SD, a Rover 216 GTI DOHC. As an added bonus I have ...
