Re: Remote fob was it an option?

I'm rather happy with my 6 fobs on my 3 Rovers.
Working fine with the 25, but I need to be rather closer with the 214 cab & the 75 V6.
No particular trouble then.

Re: Remote fob was it an option?

94L is an interesting date. If you'd said 93L I'd have said no to fobs. Maybe that extends to 94L too - not sure. I'm a lucky bunny that my 214i cabriolet has both its fobs and the car was sold in Paris on the 23rd of August 1994 . It was a Limited Edition with all the 216 toys but the electric mir...

Re: Rover 216 Cabriolet (1998) car cover

Thank you mates for that interesting information: I've just got one on the fleabay for the rather decent sum of £45 + shipping. I think now it would have been nice to have it when I bought the cabby, because of the seriously distressed hood - full of holes - and the rain that was dripping inside. :s...

Always use 5W40 fully synthetic in all my K Series :D
And so do I. Better when starting up in winter and no damage to the engine. I'm used to change it every year (6.5k mls).

Re: Glovebox key

Thank you all not to have answered my question ! It would have been a waste of time because now the lock is working God only knows why and how ! I've just opened the box and I was surprised that in such position the barrel accepted to turn a little while I was twisting the key but I thought not enou...

Glovebox key

Hello! Talking of keys & glove box, never I'd tried to lock my glove box. But recently to my surprise I realized that I can't lock my glove box with my keys . I can put it into the barrel but no way to turn it in either way! I've got both my keys & fobs and I haven't any reason to suppose that the g...

Re: Did pre L-reg R8 are ready IR alarm

My parents' 1991 214Gsi was offered an alarm by the then Rover dealer because it wasn't fitted from factory. So it was a genuine Rover alarm - or rather dealt by Rover, but it never worked properly and was sometimes blowing at random. Finally they asked the dealer to take it off. BTW my 1994 214i ca...

Re: A bit of TLC with Turtle Wax Black in a Flash

I should have thought of that for the cabby length is 4.22m when the 25 is only 3.99m.
