Re: Low mileage 214SEI

One of my favourite R8’s on the scene!

NB - A 19,000 mile 214 SEi sold on eBay for £450 only a few months ago. Gutted I didn’t see the auction!

Re: Why does my wiper catch on the bonnet

I’ve had a few R8’s and only had the problem on the early models. Later M/N reg ones never had this issue.

I fixed it on my low mileage 416 by swapping the wiper arms from an M reg 216 that was being broken for spares.

Re: Rover 214SEi 1995

Hello I have upgraded to a Rover 214 after running Metros for the last 9 years. I prefer British cars and also have a Mini and a Land Rover Series III, and a Fergie TEF20. My Rover is in really good condition and has only done 40K. It is my daily driver. I bought it from the Allegro man in Sowerby ...

The photographer said he would get copies of the photos to the club - how do we get hold of them?

Re: FS; Early 216 GSi

The omission of the chrome wind deflector was a cost cutting move. They must have cost all of about £5 each! ...Multiplied by 1 million car sales = £5 million in additional profit - not to be sneezed at. I'm sure motor manufacturers "penny pinch" on every part of a car as the impact on profits when...

Re: Rover Revivals Revival

So have the first car in for a little repair, 52k mile rover 600 SLI 2ltr honda in NFR. Needs some work on the handbrake, due to it being pointless. Has a few bumps due to woman rush hour commuter driving but will be forsale after i sort it for its mot. great tyre and barely any rust as you'd expec...
