Re: Peak District Run N-S from Holmfirth

Having read the Telegraph report it sounds just the thing for a northern run. However, caution is the word in these Covid days. Would be interested once Covid is beaten. Having had a taste of the Peak District, I would do the 75 mile day run then stay over and sample some of the hotels as listed in...

Re: Hi,

Well the bathroom is still in bits and the loo is still leaking! However the car is fixed thanks to Chris. Took longer than it should have to replace and make work as we didn’t realise that the catch had dropped. Once figured that out and found the correct tool to loosen nuts and raise up, all work...

Re: Rover 214 SEi Project

I took the alternator off today. Never done this job before. Hardest bit was getting the undertray off as the bolts were threaded. Alternator taken to the local engineers for a refurb as they had none in stock. 1 day turnaround, and it will cost £65. Fitting on Friday all being well. Hope it goes we...

Cheers, went for a £8.99 one off ebay in the end.

Does anyone recommend a good make of Multi Meter please?
I think they’ll all be much of a muchness. I don’t think mine was particularly expensive but it works well and does the job.
