I started with one, I was categorically told to stop at 13.
So I’d say you have plenty of negotiating room yet and as soon as you get rid of that trampoline it’ll be safe to fill that back patio area...*laughs*

You’re as good as 30yrs old, anything would have been eaten in that timescale without previous preparation like additional powder coating.

If it’s gearbox side it’s most likely to be crank seal that has failed.
Might just be as simple as a none torqued sump gasket.

As for the mot, it’s none intrusive so they wouldn’t have even thought about hitting it with the small hammer.

I personally don’t have any Honda kit but can happily fit it for you if you are anywhere near me.

Look out, he’s been shopping again. :clapping (By Friday) We will have our own tyre changer and balancing machine along with a new compressor to enable all the other air devices such as the parts washer and sand blaster to work. Always have to remember that kit is at least 20 years old now. Things are going to fail so don’t be too surprised.
