Re: Which head gasket to use

Shim liners and use the latest Victor Reinz 61-34835-20 with built in head saver or the SIAC gasket from Xpart/discount MG Rover spares.

How much were your ones?
Unfortunately you have to buy everything separate. I think the mounts were about £150 the bearings for the mounts where about £100 then the over bits like bolts, fitting etc where about another £50ish was long time ago can't remember :D

We could certainly do with getting more torque at the bottom of the rev range on my daughter's 1.4 Rover 25 -with the very light flywheel, the clutch is quite tricky for a learner.
If your is the 80bhp you could put the ZR throttle body on to make it 105bhp won't help much with bottom end tho.

I thought the zr 160 /sz 180 callipers wouldn't fit under 15" s? Did you have any clearance issues? Looks very tight!
No none at all not using any spares or anything either.

Re: Track R8 214 Sprint

Can finally get on with the car again now xmas and new year are out of the way. Replaced all the seals, pistons, sliders etc for the 160 brakes and gave them a coat of yellow. Not a lot of space under the 15's tho.... https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49328012203_5132922871_b.jpg IMG_20191229_1601...
