Removal of Door Weatherstrips

Is it possible to remove the rubber/plastic/felt weatherstrips that are on the bottom of the window that keep the water from running down the glass into the door frame? If so, does the whole door have to be dismantled to get them out and are these the correct replacements should I need them?? https:...

Re: Small headed flange bolts sourcing

The website has resurected this thread all by itself Err, not quite by itself. It had some help from me :D I posted a question that I almost immediately realised was surplus to requirements as the answer was in one of the replies, so I deleted it. I assume that, although the post was deleted, the w...

Best of British Rover Spares

Does anyone know if this breakers on the Darlaston Road in Wednesbury is closing/has closed down? I went past their yard recently and it looked like it was being cleared out and some of the signage had been taken down. I can see nothing on tinterwebs about it closing, so it might be they are just ha...

Re: F/S ROVER 220 Derv Ex-Police Car - (Road Legal ?) - S91 JRU

It is possible to drive a [real] Police Car as a civilian because I've done it. They have to be serviced and repaired still afterall! :drive1 And taken to/from Emergency Vehicle trade shows, which I have also done. Was warned under severe penalty NOT to touch the lights or sirens particularly, or a...

Re: Photobucket

I'm late to the party as far as using PB for uploading pics; they had already started screwing people over, but having seen the chaos they created in long build stories etc, my reaction would be "heck no!". They have clearly only reversed their money grab because it must have cost them so many users...

Stone Chip Protector on Sills/Wings

I'm in the process of replacing my rusted wing with a decent s/h replacement and I was cleaning up the minor rust spots on Sunday when I came across the "underseal/stone chip" coating that's under the paint at the bottom of the front wing and it's sparked a couple of questions. 1. Can anyone tell me...

... but come on starting at 99p is crazy I know that that will get people bidding but any car is worth starting at scrap value at least what ever it is. It may have started at 99p, but it's already up to £360 :D As for corrosion, the MOT history shows a little bit a few years back in the advisories...

Shame about the nose job on a classy Phase 1 colour. Seller following dist's advice and starting at 0.99p! Intriguing that it's been on a trailer recently when the document folder was photographed I think the later nose adds a touch of class to it myself, but there again, I've never much liked the ...

Re: The New MOT Test

Do any of our R8 diesel owners with the Peugeot engine have any problems getting their cars through the MoT emissions test at the moment? It will be interesting to see what happens at the next MoT, which is due in a couple of months time. Up until now, both of my Peugeot TD's have passed whatever t...

Re: Comfort Vehicle Theft

There are plenty of pouches available on ebay but I have no confirmation that these work. Has anybody any experience of either tins or pouches? Not directly, but as part of my job I delivered a keyless operated vehicle to auction on Friday and had to put the spare key in a pouch with a velcro seale...
