I've had the car for 3 months now and am enjoying it, although I'm looking forward to the Spring as the winter weather and dark nights restricts enjoyment somewhat.

So far I have:

* Fitted new NGK Iridium plugs
* Replace the cracked wooden dash trim with a replacement
* Replaced the non-working clock
* Fitted black mudflaps instead of grey
* Taken out the non-working R750 stereo and replaced with a JVC unit
* Fixed the faulty horns
* Had rocker cover gaskets replaced
* Fixed rear grab handle

Jobs for the spring are:
* Swap wheels with identical set of alloys with better tyres and the weights on the inside (it bugs me when tyre fitters put the weights on the outside)
* Underseal arches
* New HT leads

I am also considering lowering the car a bit (not in a bad boy way), but only because I think it sits too high as it is. Something to research as I've never lowered a car before.

Looking forward to the warmer weather myself pal. :D

I hate the weights on the outside but if the rim is designed that way there isn't much you can do but not too sure.

I’ve always asked tyre fitters to stick them on the inside and they’ve always obliged. Bugs me when they’re on the outer rim!

It's far worse when they have run out of the stick-on weights and hammer the ones intended for steel rims on instead! :o :scared :slapme
