Picked up a bubble....

#1 Post by JOHNDQ » Wed Sep 02, 2020 7:50 pm

So got a call from my of my car trader friends who said he had taken a low mileage R200 in part X was i interested in buying it so obviously i said yes. Anyway went to pick it up, good nick for a T reg just got the normal bit of rust on wings and rear arches nothing bad tho, but when i was driving it back i though thats strange it seems to not have a lot of go so when i got home i popped the bonnet..... its a 1.1 8 valve :o

Not planning to keep this one (got to many projects as it is) hoping to find her a good home soon

Yeah I had a 1.1 once, it had a loud pedal which never affected acceleration in any way. I also thought the fuel gauge was faulty as it never used any fuel.
