New Rover 45 owner

#1 Post by TimJ1962 » Fri Feb 15, 2019 7:57 pm

Hello,

I signed up for the forum back in September but didn't have a car then (I was looking thought). As I've recently bought one I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Tim and I live in the West Midlands. I've owned numerous BMC/BL cars in the past but for the last few years I've been driving a Skoda Fabia. Old habits die hard however so a couple of weeks ago I placed the winning bid on a 2003 Rover 45 on Ebay with full history and just over 31000 on the clock. The interior is spotless but the body does have some scrapes and scratches. There are a few little jobs to do but for £370 I 'm pleased with it and enjoy driving it.

Nice price nice car!
Better than a Skoda :D
My uncle back in 2000-2001 was about to buy a 45 but he spoted the new 75 and he still have it.
Here is the concessionaire where he bought. There is a little plate where you can see "MG-Rover".
Just a little story linked with your new 45 :laughing2

Thanks for the welcome guys, it is a nice car. Since buying it I've done around 200 miles in it. :)
