Mainly the dark panels and a dash board
Seats would be a bonus though

Loads of bubble dashboards about, i'll be using one out of a ROVER 25 donor car, the Mk2 25/ZR one would look different in an R8,
the squarer lines would suit it, wiring is a little bit of a pain and you need the Mk2 Air Box too as the internal/external air is switch
operated but not too hard.

I'm wanting to keep the older type dash board to be honest I have always preferred these as it's one of the things I like be about them I think there such a good looking dash board and make a great mug holder or shelf :clapping

(SORT OF) UPDATE

Nothing much to report, few more parts acquired, the ECU in order to run an OEM MAP sensor
and a front Strut Brace, asides that the car is still turning green but at least it survived the
winter, just got to wait a few months for the garage to be built and organised then I can give
it a jet wash and park it up in a nice dry place ready to be restored.

MINOR UPDATE

The car is now on all four wheels after being up in the air for over a year on an axel stand, I have given up on
the Turbo Brakes that won't fit as I could get no answers from anyone so I bit the bullet and bought a bargain
set of ZS180 Calipers and they came with as near as makes no difference new Brembo Pads and Discs, former
owner rebuilt and repainted them, they have done less than 1000 miles, made up and the car is back to a
drivable state although it will fail an MOT. :laughing2

"Whats the plan ?"

Image

"Plan ? there ain't no plan !"

Car has been sat that long its turned into a haunted house. :laughing2

The hubs got a scrub.

Old and new discs, slight difference in size.

First Caliper fitted.

Should stop the 1.8 Turbo well once its fitted.

New 16" Streetwise Alloys fitted.

Put a battery on and it started fine, left it to get up to temp, fan kicked in, happy days, no more
plans for it yet as it is waiting for the new garage to be built to get it out the weather.

That web is thicker than my quilt. Is there a special Manc spider up there? I'm never clearing out your shed again if it's as big as that web suggests it is. I'd just buy another R8 if I found a web that large in mine, rather than negotiate with the occupant and lose...
