Hoping the next stage goes quite smoothly, it looks like you've got everything lined up and ready to go.

Do you have to bypass the immobilisers and such for that? I have no idea how you make wiring looms for cars with ECUs and lots of extras like the R8 has.

At the moment just to save bit of time I won't be touching the alarm side of things just so don't have any problems starting but as I run a after market engine control unit I only need to bypass the relay for the starter motor relay anyway

Then onto the wiring.....

This is only about 3/4 stuff will need not all has turned up yet but this is enough to get the engine to the bulk head done. Im using Deutsch DT series motorsport multi plugs to on the engine side of the loom to the car side so should the engine need to come out is just a case of disconnecting 2 plug and can lift it out with all wiring etc on it. I also got the factory terminals for the engine bay fuse box so can use the original multi plugs that plug into the bottom so theres no bodging needed i will just use the original plugs with new wires and terminals so my ECU can power the fuel pump, main relay etc etc

What's wrong with colour co-ordinated oil filters.....?
1995 416 SLi (Ostensibly BRG) - on the road
2000 Citroen Xantia Estate (silver) - on the road
2006 Ford Transit (white, what else) - on the road
1972 Mercedes 350 SL (red) - not on the road
1998 Audi Cabriolet (maroon) - not on the road

It's all covered under the cam cover seal, im in hurry hoping to get to POL as someone from another forum seems interested in buying it :laughing2 will have to be a good figure tho as not ready to sell just yet. The oil filter is only there to stop paint getting anywhere it shouldn't as I've put almost £3000 into that lump so don't want it seizing up yet it's only done 2 mapping sessions, 3 trackdays and one afternoon at pod need a bit more than that out of it or missis go mad :scared
