When you change the pump dist let me know if it was a new one as that was supposed to have been done with the belts. I can give my old mechanic some more abuse he wont reply to if he didnt

If he is the same individual who rebuilt the engine without fitting a single gasket, you don't need a crystal ball to realise he wouldn't have bothered changing the water pump either Numpty? :mouthshut

Just had a bad morning with ECP :headbanging

Here is the offending article:

Doesn't look too old or crusty but i'm begining to feel the rusty water that was propped may have eaten away at the seals.

Two hours of my life i'll never get back, and what a pig of a job.

And the results are in,
Image

Short story, new pump fitted, still leaking.
Found an image of an m-series engine

Image

And where it looks like its now leaking from is that section with the 6 13mm bolts right in the middle. :mope

Which means,

Belts off again
Cam pullys off
idler pullys and tensions off
plastics covering the engine off
undo 6 bolts

find out WTF is going on. :cursing

If that doesn't work, j92 parts will become available due to turbo lump being fitted. :mouthshut
