I have temporarily relocated the Cabby to my house so I can give it a clean up as I would like to get it on
the road this Summer for a few months, this car is more organically friendly than a Prius these days, its
greener for sure !

:slapme :clapping :laughing2

Those last two photos just reminded me of an app I had installed by default on my phone. You move the phone around like a video camera and see everything on the screen. Then the phone begins to understand what it's looking at and starts to augment the reality of, say, your computer keyboard with tiny elf kingdoms including woodland in minute detail. I reckon you had that app installed and running by mistake and that cabby spotlessly clean in reality :laughing2 I mean, I've had to scrape moss off the windows but entire new plant species... that's going some.

I'd leave it all on there anyway. There aren't any other R8s with window boxes as optional extras - the motor manufacturers never thought of it.

Hardly the kind of work that Vinny has been doing but a momentous occasion occurred on Thursday ! :clapping

Since day one of ownership my Drivers door has been like this. :slapme

I bought the screw about 3 years ago, 1234dist pointed me in the right direction on Rimski Bro's, it was pence,
I just ended up stashing it and misplacing it while moving house but, twas found and now the door handle is
finally fixed, what a joy it is being able to close the door like a normal person.

Window still falls off its rails, door is dropping, car has more interior mould than a blue cheese factory and the
exterior is greener than a turf farm. :laughing2 :slapme :tt2

UPDATE !

As you may have seen on the final update of my Dad's old car, I spent a few days stripping all the parts
off the donor car for the Cabby before sending it to the scrappy, quite pleased with my haul, as you can
see, there wasn't much left. :blink

I got the full complete A/C system off it for my Cabby, really happy with this.

The full Engine and Dash Loom with the ECU, 5AS and Fuesebox.

I also got out the ABS Module, Heater Pipes, Matrix, Air Box, Centre Console, Switches, Trims and a
plethora of nuts, bolts, screws, grommits, fittings and wheel nuts.

The parts pile for the Cabby is quite big now. :blink
