Area: 114sqm

That's enormous! :o

That's twice as large as we had last year :clapping

That's 5 or 6 cars, depending on how much working space we allow ourselves.

We have one offer of an R8 416 for a 'mild makeover' - what other offers do you have?

Remember no painting, welding etc and if it's major mechanical stuff there needs to be a 'plan B' involving a trailer to get it home even if the expectation is to drive out.

No pressure … :laughing2

I'll offer up my K16 engine again for the head gasket and oil rail pre-emptive strike. If we could get one of our mechanical experts on-board and get the work filmed as well we could then put it up on youtube and a link from the web-site for future reference. I can also bring along an old D16 engine that packed up on me years ago to play around with. I think that was a head gasket issue at the time.

Additionally, there are probably bits of Trusty Rusty I could bring along for refurbishment - but I'd need a decision fairly early on this so that I could ensure any pre-work and removals could be done in time.

This is where we are:-

Confirmed
Suzy's 416 for a bit of TLC.

A Flame Red 216 that has been bought by Baur Media (who publish CCW&PC) and needs a similar bit of work. This car was is due to be featured in the second part of their 'Winter Warmers' feature in the next edition of PC. Spoiler alert - it runs fine and they like it a lot (but we knew they would :wink3 )

Provisional
A Charity Cabby from Craig Cheetham that needs a new hood and major trim refurb. This is the one we're seeking nominations for charities for.

Plus A couple of engines from Duncan and John&Kevin Norman for mechanical rebuilds.

We still need another show car or two that Paul V is working on.

We'll be busy :clapping
